Preparing to Fly

  1. Just finished a basic photography/camera class and I’m wondering about aperture, shutter speed and ISO. And lens. Stunning results, as always.

    • Thanks so much. First photo: f-10. 1/500, iso-400, 370mm (of a 500mm Sigma lens; I don’t get good results beyond 370mm on this lens). I’ll send and try second pic in a moment.

      • Hello again. I find F-10 generaly the best for depth of field. For action I use the continuous shooting mode. And a wire cable release to avoid shaking from pressing the shutter release button. Then I don’t look away from the nest or bird. Best, Richard
